As the Brooklyn Bridge Rotary Club celebrates its first annual Rotary Youth Leadership Awards, we ask you to join us in celebrating the achievements of these local young people:
Arabella Walley, founder of Reach For The Sky Youth Climbing
Making rock climbing accessible to all, allowing them to develop self-motivation, self-discipline and the ability to overcome challenges as they learn these skills.
Girls Scout Cadette Troop 2672
11 young women who have achieved the coveted Bronze level in Scouting, by doing projects preventing soil erosion and collecting school supplies for the children of Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria. In addition to distributing toiletry items to the homeless, making diabetes information and chemo kits for a local children's hospital.
The Awards Reception will be Thursday, May 2, 6-8 pm, at Enoteca on Court, 347 Court Street, Brooklyn
