It is an honor and privilege to serve as President of the Brooklyn Bridge Rotary Club for the 2026–2027 Rotary year.

Rotary is built on a simple but powerful idea: when people of diverse backgrounds, professions, and experiences come together in service, we can create meaningful and lasting change. At Brooklyn Bridge Rotary, we are proud to continue that tradition while strengthening the connections, friendships, and sense of community that make Rotary so special.

My vision for Brooklyn Bridge Rotary is centered on service, fellowship, growth, engagement, and impact. We will build upon the legacy of those who have served before us while creating new opportunities for our members to use their talents, ideas, and relationships to make a difference throughout Brooklyn and beyond.

Guided by Rotary’s Action Plan, our work this year will focus on four priorities: Increasing Our Impact, Expanding Our Reach, Enhancing Participant Engagement, and Increasing Our Ability to Adapt.

We will bring those priorities to life by strengthening our community service initiatives, developing meaningful partnerships, growing and engaging our membership, supporting youth and emerging leaders, advancing the work of The Rotary Foundation, and creating more opportunities for fellowship and connection.

We will continue addressing important community needs, including food insecurity, youth development, health and wellness, and education, while remaining responsive to new opportunities to serve our neighbors.

At the same time, we will never lose sight of fellowship. The friendships and relationships we build through Rotary sustain our service. I want Brooklyn Bridge Rotary to be a club where people feel welcomed, valued, connected, and excited to participate.

An important part of my vision is active participation. Rotary is strongest when every member has a voice, a role, and an opportunity to contribute. Whether through our committees, service projects, fundraising initiatives, fellowship activities, or community partnerships, there is a place for everyone to make a difference.

To our current members, thank you for your continued commitment to Service Above Self. I look forward to working alongside you as we write the next chapter of our club’s story.

And to our neighbors, community partners, friends, and those who may simply be curious about Rotary: we invite you to get to know us.

Come to a meeting. Join us for a service project. Partner with us on a community initiative. Bring us an idea. Or simply come meet some of the people who make Brooklyn Bridge Rotary what it is.

You do not have to be a Rotarian to begin making a difference with Rotary.

Together, we can honor our club’s legacy while building an even stronger future—one defined by service, fellowship, leadership, and lasting community impact.
